DLA Piper (Canada) LLP welcomes Partner Heather Davidson
DLA Piper (Canada) LLP is pleased to welcome Heather Davidson as Partner to the Family Law and Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations groups. Heather has practised family law for more than 22 years and has represented hundreds of clients in their divorce and family law disputes, including numerous high net-worth divorces.
Heather also advises clients on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, particularly where large estates or high incomes are involved. A background in accounting, combined with her exclusive family law experience, allows her to approach family law matters, especially complex matrimonial property issues, with skill and practical insight. Heather has appeared at all levels of Court in Alberta, including numerous appearances at the Court of Appeal. While she has extensive litigation experience, Heather is also a trained mediator.
Prior to joining DLA Piper, Heather was co-founder of a successful family law practice in Alberta and British Columbia.
“Heather is an excellent addition to our Family Law group,” said Robert Seidel, K.C., Canada Managing Partner. “An accomplished litigator and mediator, Heather is sought after by clients for her ability to navigate complex family matters and deliver comprehensive and effective solutions. We are delighted that she is joining our Vancouver office.”
