DLA Piper Canada welcomes Analea Wayne, Q.C.‎ ‎as Director of Associate and Student Development

DLA Piper (Canada) LLP is pleased to announce that Analea Wayne, Q.C.‎ has joined the firm as Director of Associate ‎Lawyer & Student Development‎. Analea will be based in the Calgary office and will work ‎with our service group leads, office managing partners and student program organizers ‎on the professional development of associate lawyers ‎and the recruitment and development of ‎summer and articling students for all our Canadian offices.‎

Analea was called to the Alberta bar in 1999 and practised litigation for over a decade including negotiation ‎and trial work, both in private practice and as in-house counsel. She has over fifteen years of ‎experience in recruitment, professional development, performance management, and continuing ‎education, including Assistant Director at a national law firm. Analea has volunteered extensively within the legal community for many years. She served on the executive of the Canadian Bar Association and is Past President of the Alberta branch.

Analea joins DLA Piper after working at a global accounting firm as a Senior ‎Consultant focused on change management, engagement and behavioral and cultural change.‎
