DLA Piper advises Armada Acquisition Corp. in US$2 billion combination with Rezolve
DLA Piper represented Armada Acquisition Corp. I (NASDAQ: AACI), a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company, in a definitive business combination agreement with Rezolve, a leader in mobile commerce and engagement. The proposed combination values the newly enlarged Rezolve, which is expected to trade on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol “ZONE,” with a market capitalization of approximately US$2 billion.

Rezolve’s platform currently serves more than 150,000 of those merchants today.
“We were thrilled to work with Armada on this important, multi-jurisdictional deal to position Rezolve as a global leader in mobile transformation,” said Gerry Williams, chair of DLA Piper’s Georgia Corporate and Securities practice and vice chair of the firm’s Southeast Private Equity group. “Our depth of experience in the private equity and e-commerce spaces made us a natural fit to advise on this transaction, and we look forward to both parties’ continued success.”
