Franco Trasolini appointed Managing Partner of Vancouver office

DLA Piper (Canada) LLP is pleased to announce that, effective January 1, 2021, Franco Trasolini will become the Office Managing Partner of the Vancouver office.

Franco first joined the firm in 1987 as a student and became Partner in 1996. He is a nationally ‎recognized real estate lawyer and a core member of the firm’s Real Estate and Corporate/Commercial ‎practices. Franco has over thirty years experience providing a loyal client base with insightful and sound ‎legal advice in a broad range of real estate and corporate/commercial related matters. He has been ‎recognized by Chambers Canada, The Legal 500 and Best Lawyers in Canada, for his expertise in real ‎estate law.‎

Franco has been an active member of the legal community, having served as Chair of the Vancouver Real Property Section of the Canadian Bar Association (BC Branch), a lecturer for the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC and the Professional Legal Training Course, a member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Practices Task Force, and a participant in Canadian Bar Association committees advising on new real estate legislation including the Strata Property Act. Franco has also been active in the community, having served on various non-profit Boards, including as Chair of the Board of Directors of Vancouver College.
