Driving Internal Engagement and Horizon Scanning - CIRCLE workshop and networking lunch

On Wednesday 29 November, we are hosting the fourth and final CIRCLE event of the year at our London offices. CIRCLE is a network for compliance and investigations professionals to engage in relationship building, critical thinking, learning and education.

In this workshop, we will explore the challenges and opportunities that arise in establishing and maintaining a strong compliance culture, including the setting of a positive and well-communicated tone from the top to drive internal engagement. We will hear from DLA Piper International’s Senior Partner, Jon Hayes, on our own journey to building a strong, values-based culture and will also hear from multi-national gaming technology company, Playtech, on how it drives internal engagement, including through gamifying its compliance training programme. We will then explore horizon scanning and the important role that it plays in scoping and framing compliance priorities, in a time of ever-increasing legislative and regulatory demands. As usual, there will be breakout sessions, for you to work with your table and discuss your experiences of best (and worst!) practice on these issues, and there will be a chance to hear some of the top strategies from each table.
