Leading M&A partner joins DLA Piper in Sydney
Global law firm DLA Piper has appointed leading Merger and Acquisition (M&A) lawyer David Holland as a partner in its Sydney office.
David has acted on some of Australia’s largest high-profile merger transactions in recent times. He advises major corporate organisations as well as government entities on proposed trade sales, purchases, and initial public offerings. His practice focuses on M&A, corporate and securities law, private company acquisitions, public company takeovers, Australian Securities Exchange rules, capital raisings, securities issues, and corporate governance and compliance.

David will join DLA Piper on Monday, 24 February. His appointment follows recent partner hires of finance lawyer David Kirkland and private capital lawyer Chris Allen who joined the firm in January 2025 and April 2024 and respectively
