Madison is an associate in DLA Piper's Data Protection, Privacy, and Security practice in the firm's San Diego office. She advises both Fortune 100 and start-up companies on privacy, security, and incident response management. Madison has experience building global privacy programs for multinational organizations and supports clients across all industries by tracking US state and federal legislative developments and providing actionable guidance on complex legal frameworks.
Madison has also worked with the global privacy team for a medical device company, advising on business requests for implementing new privacy-impacted use cases and technological developments, privacy rights requests, and contract review.
Before joining DLA Piper, Madison was a law clerk for the Attorney General of California in the Public Rights Division, a judicial intern for the Honorable Daniel E. Butcher in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and a legal intern for Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton LLP, practicing data privacy and cybersecurity law.
