DLA Piper advises Montana Tech Components AG on the sale of shares in Montana Aerospace AG
DLA Piper has advised Montana Tech Components AG on the sale of 1.35 million shares in the listed company Montana Aerospace AG. The sale was implemented by way of a club deal with institutional investors.
The sale increases the free float of Montana Aerospace. Montana Tech Components will continue to hold more than 50% of Montana Aerospace's share capital after the sale and will remain associated with Montana Aerospace as the majority shareholder. Montana Tech Components will use the proceeds from the sale to reduce debt.
Montana Aerospace, a leading vertically integrated manufacturer and supplier of system components and complex assemblies for the aerospace, e-mobility and energy industries, has been listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange since November 2021. A DLA Piper team led by partner Dr Roland Maaß advised Montana Aerospace AG on the IPO and a subsequent capital increase. A DLA Piper financing team also advised Montana Aerospace AG on a refinancing at the end of 2023.
