DLA Piper Canada advised Waroona Energy on plan of arrangement and acquisition by Frontier Energy

On December 14, 2023, Waroona Energy Inc. (TSXV: WHE) (Waroona) announced it had completed a plan of arrangement with Frontier Energy Limited (ASX: FHE; OTCQB: FRHYF) (Frontier), resulting in Waroona becoming a subsidiary of Frontier and creating a large-scale renewable energy development company in Western Australia.

The previously announced arrangement was approved at a special meeting of shareholders of Waroona held on December 8. Frontier is an Australian company developing the large-scale Bristol Springs Solar Project in the heart of Western Australia. Waroona is on track to become one of the first, low cost green hydrogen projects in Australia.
