DLA Piper continues to expand Asia Corporate practice with strategic M&A Partner hire in Tokyo
DLA Piper today announces the appointment of Peter Armstrong as a Partner in its Corporate practice, based in Tokyo, Japan.
Peter Armstrong joins DLA Piper from Nishimura & Asahi where he was a Corporate Partner, advising both Japanese and global entities on a wide range of complex cross-border transactions and projects. Peter qualified in Ontario, Canada and moved to Tokyo in 2010. He is fluent in Japanese and has extensive experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and foreign investment in a variety of industries. He has specific expertise in renewable energy projects, including onshore and offshore wind power, solar, biomass and geothermal power projects, both in Japan and abroad.
