DLA Piper announces partnership promotions for 2019
DLA Piper is proud to announce that 77 lawyers have been promoted to its partnership. The promotions are effective as of April 1, 2019 in the United States and May 1, 2019 for EMEA and Asia Pacific. The promotions were made across many of the firm's practice areas in 43 different offices throughout 20 countries.
Across the firm's practices globally, Corporate saw the largest intake of new partners with 20 promotions, followed by Litigation and Regulatory with 18. Real Estate and Intellectual Property and Technology had eleven and ten promotions respectively, whilst there were six in Employment. Finance and Projects and Tax had five and four promotions respectively, while there was one each in Restructuring, Government Affairs and the firm's Office of General Counsel.
In total, there were 23 promotions in the United States, four in Canada, three in Latin America, 22 across Continental Europe, eight in the United Kingdom, four in Asia, three in the Middle East, five in Australia and a further five in New Zealand.
