Today the White House announced that it will unveil its long anticipated Executive Order (EO) laying the foundations for the future regulation of artificial intelligence (AI).
Based on a copy of the initial 111-page draft, the Order will be far-reaching and will cover a range of topics tackling the standards and rules of AI governance across the federal government, including but not limited to AI testing and evaluation standards, red-teaming, data privacy, discrimination, bias, compute thresholds, content authenticity, immigration, federal procurement, and national security.
