He meets regularly with Argentina’s preeminent practitioners, scholars and members of the judiciary in law congresses to discuss legal trends and legislative reforms.
He has assisted international clients in some of the most notable cross border litigations and arbitrations that took place in Argentina over the last two decades as well as complex bankruptcy proceedings in Argentina on behalf of creditors and debtors.
Alberto is experienced in non-contentious practice, advising clients on the complete range of matters, from general labor, redundancy programs, social security matters, planning and strategy to restructuring, collective bargaining and negotiations with unions and the government. and has a strong experience representing companies before the Labor Ministry.
Alberto began advising Shell C.A.P.S.A. on labor matters and commercial disputes in local and federal courts over two decades ago and continues to advise Raizen S.A. (Shell’s Argentine subsidiary) on commercial matters. He also advised Temasek, GP Investments and Amber Capital on the labor and social security due diligence process in the US$ 1 billion purchase of Pioner´s rigging companies in Latam (22 companies in 9 countries). Alberto began advising Shell C.A.P.S.A. on labor matters and commercial disputes in local and federal courts over two decades ago and continues to advise Raizen S.A. (Shell’s Argentine subsidiary) on commercial matters. He also advised Temasek, GP Investments and Amber Capital on the labor and social security due diligence process in the US$ 1 billion purchase of Pioner´s rigging companies in Latam (22 companies in 9 countries). It was renamed to San Antonio International, the largest regional oil service company (and the largest in Argentina at that time by far). San Antonio had around 7,000 employees in Argentina, and he represented them on labor disputes in the City of Buenos Aires for several years. He still represents San Antonio on labor disputes.
He represented clients before all levels of the courts, such us Comverse Networks Systems, Inc., Farmabase Saúde Animal Ltda., Araucaria Energy S.A., Madero Harbour S.A., Aires del Sur S.A. (member of Elco Group), Findasense S.A., Aegis Argentina S.A. (member of Startek Inc.), Ingeconser S.A., La Mucca S.A. (member of Groupe Lactalis), CHS de Argentina S.A. and Lawter S.A., among others. Alberto also has wide experience advising clients on its disputes with C-Level management and compliance investigations.
