Anthony is an attorney in the Montreal office’s Real Estate Group. He brings years of hands-on real estate experience and a unique profile as a negotiator and communicator to his work in expropriation law and commercial real estate.
Before joining DLA Piper, Anthony was Managing Partner of a property development company, developing a strong business-side understanding of the whole real estate development pipeline, from sourcing projects, through acquisition, development, construction, leasing and management. He represented his company’s interests in public forums, before municipal council and has worked through the challenges of municipal and provincial regulations, including a successful challenge of a heritage conservation district before the Ontario Land Tribunal.
Anthony also worked in the Real Estate Group of a growth-oriented, Montreal-based law firm, assisting clients with a full range of their commercial real estate needs.
In addition to his legal work, Anthony sits on the Canadian board of a Nobel-Prize-winning NGO that helps people living with disabilities in conflict zones around the world. For years, he acted as their Ambassador in Canada, reaching millions with messages tailored to diverse media platforms. He is also an actor.
