DLA Piper welcomes Brian Burke to the Corporate Practice

DLA Piper is pleased to welcome Brian Burke as a partner in the Corporate Practice. He will be based in the Northern Virginia (Reston) office.

Burke advises high-growth companies and investors in connection with early stage, venture capital, growth equity, private equity, and M&A transactions. He frequently works with his clients on day-to-day corporate matters as outside corporate counsel, having worked with hundreds of companies and investors throughout the US across a wide range of industries.

Recent notable examples of his experience include representing a payment automation company in its US$110 million Series B financing, advising a school safety software company in its acquisition by a private equity-backed buyer, and representing a sustainable packaging company in its US$140 million Series D financing.
