DLA Piper advises DLG Group in its minority stake in Entre Rios Crushing

DLA Piper advised DLG Group, the largest farm supply company in Europe, in the acquisition of a minority stake in Entre Rios Crushing S.A., an Argentine company dedicated to soybean crushing for the production of animal feed and other derivatives of soybean meal and soybean oil.

The multi-million dollar investment is part of a strategic partnership with the Argentinian agricultural cooperative, ACA, and is the beginning of a transatlantic co-operation between the two parties. With the investment, DLG also secures an annual import of up to 200,000 tons of segregated soy for the Northern European market, grown on deforestation-free land.

The DLA Piper Argentina team that advised DLG was led by partner Martín Mittelman and included counsel Juan Pablo Reverendo and associate Milagros Padilla (all of Buenos Aires).
