DLA Piper advises Enterprise Investors on its investment in Renters.pl

DLA Piper Poland advised Polish Enterprise Fund VIII, a private equity fund managed by Enterprise Investors on its investment in Renters.pl, one of the leaders in the Polish market for short-term rental property management.

PEF VIII will invest up to EUR19 million in the company’s growth, acquiring up to 80% of the company's shares. The transaction is conditional upon obtaining antimonopoly approval.

Renters.pl operates in the very attractive and fast-growing short-term rental management market. Renters.pl’s offerings include marketing and demand generation activities, a dynamic price management process, reservation and guest stay services, cleaning, maintenance, as well as interior design and professional photography services. The company employs more than 110 people and generated total booking revenues of PLN130 million (EUR27 million) in 2022.

Enterprise Investors is one of the largest private equity firms in Central and Eastern Europe. Active since 1990, the firm has raised nine funds, and have invested and committed EUR2.2 billion in 153 investments.

The transaction team led by Jakub Domalik-Plakwicz, a partner in DLA Piper's Warsaw Corporate and M&A practice, included Michał Banasiak, Karolina Pichit and Izabela Gębal.

The company's due diligence work was conducted by: Mirosław Całka, Piotr Czulak, Kamila Możdżeń, Emilia Kalecka, Aleksandra Wrońska-Szymkowiak, Magdalena Kołodziejczyk, Kacper Skowron, Agnieszka Tarasiuk, Zofia Waszczykowska and Paulina Osiecka.

Michał Orzechowski and Agnieszka Staszek were responsible for antitrust aspects, including the preparation of the notification to the relevant antitrust authority.
