DLA Piper advises on the sale of Eidosmedia to Capza

DLA Piper and Gitti and Partners have advised on the sale of EidosMedia Group by Hg Capital to Capza, a French private equity fund focused on small and medium-sized enterprises.

The EidosMedia Group, a specialist in content management and cross-media publishing serving media and financial clients, was acquired by Hg Capital in 2015 together with two other private equity funds: Aksìa Group SGR e Wise SGR.

DLA Piper advised Capza on aspects of English law, US law, French law, German law, Chinese law and Australian law, with an international and multidisciplinary team lead by London-based Corporate partner Luca Gori and senior associate Deepa Parmar. Partner Andy Kolachi (London) provided Finance advice, while of counsel Nick Klein (Washington, DC) advised on CFIUS and Matt Leivo (San Diego) advised on US aspects.

Gitti and Partners advised Capza with a team led by Corporate partners Stefano Roncoroni and Jessica Fiorani, assisted by associate Valeria Pistoni. Partner Gianluigi Strambi provided Tax advice, while counsel Valentina Compiani advised on the banking and finance aspects of the transaction.
