DLA Piper partner Daniel Cook named a 2023 DC Rising Star by the National Law Journal

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that partner Daniel Cook has been named a 2023 DC Rising Star by the National Law Journal.

Cook was recognized for his many accomplishments, including his work with pharmaceutical manufacturers in their efforts to supply COVID-19 vaccines to the US government, and his experience advising life sciences sector companies on the Defense Production Act and related supply chain issues.

In his practice, Cook provides government contractors with regulatory counseling, compliance guidance and support on internal investigations. He also has extensive experience on government contracts litigation matters before the US Government Accountability Office, the US Court of Federal Claims, the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the US Small Business Administration's Office of Hearings and Appeals and the Boards of Contract Appeals.

Although he regularly works with traditional government contractors from the defense, aerospace, intelligence and technology sectors, he focuses on supporting life sciences sector companies in the government contracting space, particularly companies in the pharmaceutical, medical device and testing industries.
