DLA Piper partner Cara Nelson named to GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s 2023 Women of Influence list

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Cara Nelson, location head of the firm’s Boston Real Estate practice, has been named to GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s 2023 Women of Influence list recognizing women who have “made their mark” on the US commercial real estate industry.

In its profile of Nelson, the publication noted that she has led some of the most important real estate matters the firm has handled in recent years, including leading many transactions for Oxford Properties Group and others. GlobeSt. also highlighted her role leading the team that advised Wheelock Street Capital in a tiered joint venture structure to develop 10 World Trade Center in the Seaport neighborhood of downtown Boston.

In her practice, Nelson advises commercial real estate investors and developers, real estate funds, investment advisors and pension plans in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions throughout the United States. Her experience includes representing buyers, sellers and borrowers of multi-family and senior housing assets, office towers, development parcels, industrial properties and retail centers.
